Mike Rayhill founded Growth By Design, LLC in June of 2018. Growth By Design helps owners sustain profitable growth. Oftentimes, this involves helping ownership with transition plans and decisions. Growth By Design has already helped companies organize their human talent, develop marketing and sales plans, and apply state-of-the-art technology to sustain profitable growth.
Michael Rayhill is a passionate global business leader who creates winning corporate cultures based on mutual respect, innovation, and value creation. As the former Jiffy-tite Company, Inc. President, Jiffy-tite developed into a global leader in fluid connection solutions for the automotive industry. During his nearly seven-year tenure, sales grew 233% while profitability and returns on capital remained top-tier in the automotive supplier industry. Mr. Rayhill led the effort to sell Jiffy-tite to a Swiss company in March of 2016.

Prior to joining Jiffy-tite, Mr. Rayhill spent many years in the automotive industry with General Motors and Delphi. During his tenure with GM and Delphi, he lived in the United States, Europe and Asia. He held executive positions in engineering, marketing, business development, program management and general management. This experience included growing Delphi’s largest JV in the world (located in Korea) by increasing sales, adding to the diversity of product lines, and growing the number of technical licenses and equity partners. It also included several merger and acquisition (M&A) assignments. In his largest M&A effort, he led five divisions an effort to acquire a $4 billion-per-year Japanese company with over 100 sites on three continents.
Mike Rayhill has also been very active with outside entities, which have all brought great value back to his employers. He served as the Chairman of the CEO Council of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), was elected to the OESA Board of Directors, served on the Board of Directors of EWI (a non-profit manufacturing innovation company in Columbus, Ohio), and also served on the Founders’ Council of Buffalo Manufacturing Works. Mike has also derived great value from being a member of Vistage.
Mr. Rayhill has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Biology and Humanities from Lehigh University. He also completed Strategic Business Management at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
